Blawhorn’s Big Summer Day Out

Parks and beaches are fun in the summer but why not try a bog for a change?  Spend one of your summer days on Blawhorn Moss and discover moths that live there, do some pond dipping, nature crafts or join a tour to try and spot some dragonflies.

Suitable for all ages

This is a drop in event with some time scheduled activities: Moth traps opening at 9.30am (at our tent on the Moss - follow the signs around 10-15 minute walk from car park) Walk and talk tour - 12pm (will take around 1 hour starting from the car park) Pond dipping (if conditions allow), nature games and crafts available 9.30am to 2pm.
